Based on the guidelines published by the CDC, WHO and our professional organizations, the American Dental Association, and the New Hampshire Dental Society, effective March 17, 2020, we are delaying all elective procedures.  We are doing everything to accommodate our patients as we plan to resume a normal schedule as soon as possible. While elective procedures are being delayed, we are remaining open for emergency care. Thank you for your understanding, during these difficult times.

Have dentures improved in recent years?

Dentures have been around for a long time, and they have dramatically improved in recent years. According to a study by the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, patients who got dentures were much more satisfied with them than expected. There are three main reasons for this:

  1. Dentures are more comfortable. Because of 3-D imagine, dentists can make precise dentures that fit better than before.
  2. Dentures look more natural. Forget the old-fashioned, fake-looking teeth of the past. Not only do dentures fit better, but they look much more like your natural teeth. They can be made to suit the tone of your skin, the structure of your face, and the shape of your mouth.
  3. Dentures are more functional. Because they are made to fit better than ever, chewing, laughing, and speaking with dentures is easy. Of course, there is a period of adjustment when you are first fitted with dentures, but once you are used to them, you will find that they stay put and you will not have to worry about slipping.
